About this event

About this workshop:

Having thrown whips for over 20 years I want to pass on the knowledge that has been given to me. Early on I was once told that the only way to be good at throwing whips is to practice. A very good whip thrower told me if he could do it anyone can, since he is totally uncoordinated in every other way. But he made his mind up to be good and practiced until he was. So I want to pass along the practice methods he gave me that day some 20 years ago, and some things I have since learned.  I know of no other way to become good at whip throwing other than to practice. However your practice must have focus, and hopefully this is what I can help with.

We will cover types, construction, and care of whips.

I will demonstrate several styles of throwing.

And I will give you ways to practice throwing and what you are focusing on.

And if time allows I will do one on one instruction, and or go further into how to scene using a whip.

If you have a whip, bring it along.

Presenter Bio:

Sir Brian has been interested in BDSM most of his life. He has been active within the San Diego community for 20 plus years. He is a contributing member of several local clubs, co-leader of the San Diego DS Discussion Group (SDDS) and is a founding member of the Southern California Power Exchange. He has overseen the set up of dungeons for several clubs in the local area. While Sir Brian often chooses to be active behind the scenes in the community, he feels an obligation and has a love for passing on his knowledge as part of his leather path while continuing to pursue the light within.
