About this workshop:
This class is an inclusive introduction to chastity play for all genders, bodies, budgets, and access needs. We'll explore what chastity is—both physical and mental/verbal—why people enjoy it, and how to play safely and hygienically. Learn to navigate dynamics, bust myths, and discover gear options for every body and budget. Includes a hands-on how-to for measuring and choosing the right belt or cage. Curious or committed, come as you are and leave informed.
Presenter Bio:
Grant (He/She/They) has been a submissive in the San Diego community since 2019. They have been volunteering with YbK and Bad Intentions since the groups’ inception, as well as teaching classes on chastity through Bad Intentions and Domcon LA. They are also the creator and founder of ChastityTech, a small company that aims to make getting a customized cage as user-friendly as possible.
Eris (She/Her or He/Him) is a Dominant woman who has been a lifelong kink enthusiast with a love of corruption/edgeplay, an affinity for safer negotiation, and a soft spot for CG/l. She has dedicated much of her life to expanding her kink education and practical skills knowledge base, notably seven years as a soft Domme educator for community, her last two years with ClubX SD as an ambassador and top volunteer, two years as an instructor for flogging and electro play for both SD Leather Realm and ClubX SD, and regular demo top for impact basics and electro play in both communities.
Identification:
Attendees must present valid, physical government-issued identification for entry. The identification must include the attendee's legal first and last name as well as birthdate. (Must be 18 or older)
Accessibility:
- Accessibility: Narrow entry hall; one stair-step separates the main space from the kitchen and restrooms; venue now has a portable ramp that can be deployed on request. Steps lead to patio and fire pit. Venue itself is on a hill.
- Restrooms: Two ADA compliant single restrooms with grab bars.
- Lighting: Fluorescent, controlled by dimmers; colorful party lights aimed at ceiling in main room.
- Smoking: Permitted on patio.
- Parking: Small parking lot with one disabled space; the incline of the hill can make it difficult to keep car doors open; additional parking available on hill.
- Transit access: Limited access by one direct bus route that runs until approx. 9:45pm weeknights and approx. 8:30pm Saturdays; limited access by a bus stop 1/2 mile away (one way only) and a trolley station just over 1 mile away; check routes upon receiving address in will-call email.
Health & COVID Policy
Club X supports safety and responsibility to one's self as well as to others in the kink community in all things, including issues related to health and infectious diseases. For personal protection and for the well-being of those around them, Club X encourages its members and guests to be vaccinated according to CDC guidelines against communicable diseases. Club X supports anyone’s choice to wear masks.
If you are ill with any infection that can be spread through casual contact, please do not attend Club X in-person events. Regardless of symptom severity, if you know or suspect you are Covid positive or are otherwise ill, isolate in accordance with CDC guidelines. As a courtesy to others, and as a matter of personal responsibility, if you have been knowingly exposed to Covid-19, we request that you wear a high-quality mask, as recommended by the current CDC guidelines.
Club X reserves the right to require masking at an event if requested by the presenter. We will designate such events with “masks required” in the title.
